At Buckingham Opticians we endeavour to provide a friendly, efficient and reliable service.  From booking your appointment, through the eye examination to the dispensing of your spectacles or contact lenses, we aim to do the best for you.

We provide a comprehensive range of optometric services for the whole family, from Private and NHS Eye Examinations through to contact lenses, Visual Stress Screening, Safety Glasses, Office Eyewear and Sports Eyewear.  If you are unable to leave home unaccompanied, we can come to you with our Home Visit Service.

As from April 1st 2014 Buckingham Opticians has registered to be part of the Community Optometry Referral Refinement Scheme (CORRS) in East Yorkshire.

Through this scheme, patients whose GP is registered in East Yorkshire (under the East Yorkshire CCG) can make an appointment to have a wide range of eye problems investigated at no charge.  We welcome referrals from GP's, pharmacists and Minor Injury Units, and patients can even just come to us directly if they are suffering from an eye problem.  

The scheme covers red eyes, sore/dry/gritty/itchy eyes, blepharitis, floaters and flashes, and many other eye conditions which may be simple to treat either by the optometrist, or via referral to the GP or the consultant ophthalmologists at Hull and East Yorkshire Eye Hospital.
