When you collect your new spectacles, we always like to make sure that they fit you properly, without slipping or digging in, and that they do the job. As a result we like to book an appointment for you to have your new spectacles fitted and adjusted, and to check the vision. This is particularly important for people wearing varifocals or bifocals for the first time, or where the prescription is more complicated.
It's inevitable that spectacles will wear loose with time, especially if they're taken off with one hand, or placed on top of the head, or simply if they get knocked.
If your spectacles need adjusting, just pop in and we'll have a look.
If you didn't purchase your spectacles from us, we may be able to carry out minor adjustments, but it is generally better to take them back to the place of purchase.
